The telephone has become part of peoples everday lives, almost every household will have one or even more than one and almost every individual has a mobile phone. In modern society, a telephone or mobile phone is an essential for peoples daily routines, phone calls to make, texts to send, emails to forward and so much more

Mobile phones are not the only phones with wireless connections, household phones are aswell. Another reason was for emergencies which is an obvious need for a wireless phone/ mobile phone, which gives an incentive for elderly people to carry one around. However, the main reason in modern life (21st century) for having a mobile phone is either for business purposes or for entertainment, which is where 'Smart phones' come in to play. When the telephone was first created, people were lucky to have one in their household let alone have one in their pocket or handbag..But now, all people have to decide between is a Blackberry or an Iphone.
